![]() ![]() ![]() (iTV/iTunes/iPod)Īs I mentioned before, my main problem with this is the price and how MS is essentially molding their service platform (Xbox Live) to accomodate providers only, as opposed to trying and make it truly successful. Very interesting 3 way battle that is emerging: ![]() There is a potential problem however of Sony studios and Disney studios not cooperating with Microsoft. Between Xbox Live Marketplace, Xbox, Zune, and Windows I think MS has all the pieces they need to put together a successful competitor to iTunes, iPod, and iTV in this business. Microsoft has a lot of work to do if they want to successfully position themselves in a way to take on Apple's emerging dominance of the entertainment industry. I wonder if all of this content will be available on the PC when they roll out Live Anywhere? Again I really hope that the bigger HDDs they release for 360 simply connect underneath your existing drive or at least have a serial port on top to transfer your data from the old drive. Also since Zune comes with Wi-Fi built-in they could do the same location free stuff that Sony is doing with PSP/PS3. I wonder when the Zune music store is going to come to Xbox 360? The Zune is already using Microsoft Points so it seems like they are planning to tie Zune in with Xbox somehow. They need to make the downloadable TV shows compatible with Zune as soon as possible. ![]()
